Settings

Callisto is designed to be as easy to use as possible. After funding your wallet with SOL you are ready to trade. That being said, you can change your trading experience by changing the wallets settings. They will look something like this:

The settings might appear complicated at first glance but it is actually pretty simple. Each setting is explained in the UI.

Min Position Value: This is the minimum value in USD which is needed for Token positions to appear in your Sell & Manage UI. Any Token below this threshold will not be shown when opening your positions.

Auto Buy: This is the amount of SOL which will be used to auto buy a coin whenever your submit a contract address after clicking the Buy button. Setting this to 0 disables the auto buy feature.

Slippage: If the price of a coin will change by more than the set amount while waiting for the transaction to finish the transaction will be cancelled. Coins with high volatility or a low market cap might need a higher slippage than less volatile or high market cap coins.

Buy & Sell Buttons Config: These are the buy and sell buttons you will see whenever buying or selling a coin.

MEV Protection: MEV stands for "Maximal Extractable Value". It is also known as a "Sandwich attack". This describes bots who are taking advantage of the users slippage when swapping coins. For example if your buy slippage is 10% it means you are willing to buy the coin at a 10% higher price than the current one. Sometimes (not always) bots see your buy and buy right before you making you buy at a higher price, and right after your buy they sell again. Resulting in a worse price for you. Turning MEV Protection on means bots will never be able to see your transactions, but transactions may be slower or fail entirely. Having MEV Protection turned off means your transactions are generally faster but might get attacked by MEV bots.

Transaction Priority: This is the amount which you will pay as an extra to the normal transaction fee. Increasing the transaction priority increases your transaction speed. Transactions might be slow when a lot of users trade the same coin. Increasing the transaction priority allows your transactions to be processed earlier than transactions with a lower transaction priority.
